Property Investment Buying: Finding the Right House

Property investment buying is easy if you know the three basic things: The right seller, the right buyer, and the right house. In this article, I will focus more on finding the right house where you should invest in. By narrowing down your choices of properties, it will give you an ease in planning your investing project.
You should start investing in residential houses. Why? For this is the best time to do so. Investing in properties like these offers a lucrative venture because you have a buyers’ market. Yes, it is true that there is a great number of cheap properties today. The best thing about that, these properties are available at below market value prices. Your target market should be families. More and more people now are realizing the great advantage of buying new houses today. They know that a lot of beautiful houses are available at discounted prices. They probably didn’t have the money to buy their “dream house” before but now, they have the chance.
Start your property investment buying venture in finding cheap, quality houses. If you’re thinking of flipping houses for quick profit, it’s best to buy houses from motivated sellers. Sellers like them had already made up their minds that they want to sell their houses ASAP. Some of the common reasons why they want to do that are divorce, death in the family, or job loss. They can no longer keep the house so they need to put that up for sale.
Investing in properties like these makes it possible for you to buy cheap houses, flip it immediately, and to earn quick cash. Finding them in right places at right times is the catch. The easiest way is to read the newspapers. Go to classified ads and look for posts or advertisements there. Get the contact numbers and call the sellers right away. Another way is to search on the Internet. The World Wide Web is like a huge shopping mall. You can find everything there. You can also try strolling around the neighborhood. Look for “For Sale” board signs. It’s the best if you want to talk to the owner right away.
Property investment buying is about finding steals. The property is said to be a “steal” if it is worth buying. The price is cheap but the quality is great. Always keep in mind that in real estate investing, you make money when you buy properties and not when you sell them. Therefore a great opportunity and huge profit begins with finding the right house.

Today i was asked if we are in a Bull or Bear market here in the Kawartha Lakes real estate marketplace. After a little bit of thought I had to say “neither”. We are not in a Bear market as average sale prices have been increasing, but are not in a bull market either because investor confidence has not reached bullish levels yet. Often times a market becomes a bull market just before prices rise. This is because investors want to get into the market before prices rise.
